<p>The Official FlexRadio Systems® Client, SmartSDR, is a comprehensive radio client that allows you to operate your FlexRadio device using your iPad or iPhone. It is compatible with SmartSDR versions 1, 2 (including SmartLink), and 3 (including MultiFlex and SmartControl).</p>

<p>Please note that this app specifically requires a FlexRadio Systems® Series-6000 Software Defined Radio (SDR) Device. Additionally, the app includes a FlexRadio Simulator (Demo Mode) for users who do not own a FlexRadio, although the audio quality in Demo Mode is not as good as when connected to a real FlexRadio. For optimal audio quality, it is recommended to connect the app to a real FlexRadio.</p>

<p>For HomeKit integration, you can use any Power Plug or Switch that is HomeKit compatible.</p>

<p>In addition to the features offered by SmartSDR for Windows, this app includes:</p>

  <li>Band limits and Band maps and modes displayed inside the Panadapter (In-App Purchase)</li>
  <li>DX Cluster support displaying spots directly inside the Panadapter (In-App Purchase)</li>
  <li>Graphical tuning knob for easy and precise frequency selection</li>
  <li>Various additional features such as TNF maintenance, direct Bandwidth selection, Split Mode, instant Memory creation, and more</li>
  <li>Device logging and device parameter monitoring (e.g., PA Temperature)</li>
  <li>Logbook integration with ADIF Import and Export (In-App Purchase)</li>
  <li>Support for two Bluetooth and USB Controllers (In-App Purchase)</li>
  <li>Voice Macro recording and playback</li>
</ul>

<p>There are a few limitations compared to SmartSDR for Windows:</p>

<ul>
  <li>Only one Panadapter visible at a time</li>
  <li>Diversity is not implemented</li>
</ul>

<h2>Requirements</h2>

<ul>
  <li>A FlexRadio Systems® FLEX-6000 series radio</li>
  <li>An iPhone or iPad running at least iOS 16</li>
</ul>

<h2>Network Requirements</h2>

<p>To use this app at home, you only need a regular WiFi connection that can access your FLEX-6000. You can start using the app immediately.</p>

<p>For remote operation via SmartLink™, a Version 2 License is required for your Radio.</p>

<p>The app supports Splitscreen Multitasking on newer iPads, allowing you to run SmartSDR in split mode alongside your browser, email software, or any other app.</p>
