The Official FlexRadio Systems® Client, SmartSDR, is a comprehensive radio client that allows you to operate your FlexRadio device using your iPad or iPhone. It is compatible with SmartSDR versions 1, 2 (including SmartLink), and 3 (including MultiFlex and SmartControl).

Please note that this app specifically requires a FlexRadio Systems® Series-6000 Software Defined Radio (SDR) Device. Additionally, the app includes a FlexRadio Simulator (Demo Mode) for users who do not own a FlexRadio, although the audio quality in Demo Mode is not as good as when connected to a real FlexRadio. For optimal audio quality, it is recommended to connect the app to a real FlexRadio.

There are a few limitations compared to SmartSDR for Windows:

• Only one Panadapter visible at a time
• Diversity is not implemented

Requirements

• A FlexRadio Systems® FLEX-6000 series radio
• An iPhone or iPad running at least iOS 16

Network Requirements

To use this app at home, you only need a regular WiFi connection that can access your FLEX-6000. You can start using the app immediately.

For remote operation via SmartLink™, a Version 2 License is required for your Radio.

The app supports Splitscreen Multitasking on newer iPads, allowing you to run SmartSDR in split mode alongside your browser, email software, or any other app.
